OO Grade: B-
Almost too honest backcountry.
Surprising to see a kellerbier than clear and pale, which can make someone frown at having something olfactory ethereal. Not totally the case, some leafy German hops make the barley disappear, with only a very fine wet autumn leaves reach the inner nose. Fortunately, the intensity is cranked up once the taste spuds are hit with the same hops almost becoming dusty, counterbalanced by a milky mouthfeel. For those who relates NorthCountry with direct, too honest people, the name is wisely chosen.
